How to align image in table cell
thumbnail images of the products with a SKU number on top of each one. All
of the table columns are 1 inch wide, but the images vary in width and often
are .5 inches wide or even less. By default all the images are aligned
top-left. I want to align them in the center. Is there any way to do this?
Thanks.

moondaddy@.nospam.comI have the same problem. Even when I create an image that is the width
of the the cell with the content centered inside it, Reporting
Services still aligns it to the left.
Please help. This group does not seem to be very well monitored: no
replies to this question after nearly a month.
Thanks

how to add image file to a table?
image field? Using ADO.Net I can use the command object to add text data
like this:
cmd.CommandText = "Insert Into tlb1(fld1) Values('test1')"
cmd.ExecuteNonQuery()
But what if I want to add the file at C:\dir1\pic1.jpg?
cmd.CommandText = ?
Do I need to use the ADODB Stream Object for this? While I am at it, is
there a difference between storing an image file in an image column or a
binary column?
Thanks,
RichJust have a look here, there is a code snipplet presented within the
article:

But one problem I seem to always have is that when I try to run an aspx app
that I copied from somewhere else I keep getting the following error message
:
"Error while trying to run project: Unable to start debugging on the web
server. The project is not configured to be debugged."
My workaround has been to create a whole new project and copy the parts from
the original project. I have explored the Assembly file, the WebConfig file
to see if there is anything to configure there. But I have not had any luck
.
Do you know how I could configure this application so that I don't have to
create a whole new one?
Thanks again,
Rich

So, even though this works, I can only do it from an aspx page. Can
something like this be done using ADO/ADO.Net?
Anyway, thanks again for your help on this.

I
went to the properties of my virtual directory. There is already an
application name there - the name of the virtual directory. I am not clear
on what name I should put in there. Is it the name of my project? So
everytime I copy a project from somehwere I put the name of that project in
the Application name box in the properties of the Virtual directory?
Thanks also for the article on using ADO.Net for writing blobs to Sql
Server.

How to add an image to an SQL Server database
Hi all,
I have a field in the SQL Server database, with 'Image' ad field type.
How can I add a jpeg fiel to it so that I can view it and also access it through a program?
Thanks

How to add an image dynamically using an URL
and file names of a group of GIF images from a database table, and (2)
dynamically construct an URL for each images, and finally (3) using the
URLs to dynamically add the images into the report pages.
Since I have millions of images stored in a virtual directory, I cannot
add them all into my report project.
Thanks in advance if anybody have any solution and can share it with
me!
TommyYou will need SP1 of RS 2000 which supports retrieving "external" images
through http://. Check section 4.1.4 of the SP1 readme for details.

How to add a image to the ReportVeiwer
Good day all
I have the vwd 2005 express and am playing around with the report veiwer.
How can i put the image on my report ( as a header) . I have draged the image control from the toolbox onto my Report.rdlc form , but it,s not the same as the image control in the toolbox for the "aspx" forms. I cannot right click and set a image URL.
There is a backgroundImage property but the wording is unfamilier to me eg, Source.. External , Value... MIMEType etc.
Can anyone help with getting the image into the report?
Thanks
Rob
Hi Rob,
The only way to add image in the report is by using the image control, and yes its different from the one for the aspx pages.
When you place a image control on the form an image wizard will be opened where you can choose whether you want the image to be embadded into the report itself/use a common image for a project/image stored in database/use an image hosted on net.
Just select the appropriate option and select the image. For more information check these links -

how to add a image from database to page header
Hi,
I am having same issue, but the data is an image stored in database. actually its an company logo which i need to display on every page.
i have a doubt. if i user source as external and an URL in a image property, then my image will not appear if the Reporting Server and Application Server are on two different machines. if both are in one machine as my local machine(development machine) the image appears.
is this an known issue or how to solve this. due to this reason, we thought of putting images in database and pulling out, but it turned out to be an another problem.
You can follow the approach described in Books Online (scroll to "Adding a Databound Image to a Header or Footer"): http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms159677.aspx
Note: if you are doing this on Reporting Services 2005, you should definitely first install SP1 (http://www.microsoft.com/sql/sp1.mspx) for both, the report server and the machines with BI Development Studio / Report Designer.
